I get so inspired each time I read Matthew 16:18 ( And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.)

These were the words of the master himself and he categorically stated that he is personally responsible for building is church. How comforting.

We know that the Lord Jesus has gone to heaven, but the Holy Spirit is with us to continue His ministry here on earth. So how does the Lord build his church. He built his church through the instrumentality of the Word. The Gospel of Jesus Christ was brought to us by the instrumentality of the Word. The scripture contains God's plan and purpose for mankind. In your relationship with Jesus as Lord of your life, the first thing you have to learn is to submit to the Lordship of the Word.

The word is the only ingredient that can transform a person's life on all three levels; Spirit, soul and body (Hebrews, 4:12: For the word of God [is] living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart). When the word of God gets into your spirit, it produces in you what it talks about. For example, the Word is the instrument for salvation, which is the very first steps. Roman 1:16: For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.

That means God's power to save anyone is in the gospel of Christ: His word of Salvation.

The word of God can also transform your way of thinking as the Bible says in Romans. 12:2 (And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what [is] that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Then, of course, the word can transform your physical body. Proverbs 4:23. (Keep and guard your heart with all vigilance and above all that you guard, for out of it flow the springs of life.) It will grant you divine immunity against sickness and any kind of infirmity. In addition. The word of God has the power to inspire prosperity into your life. (Proverbs 8:10-11 Receive my instruction in preference to [striving for] silver, and knowledge rather than choice gold, For skillful and godly Wisdom is better than rubies or pearls, and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it.); 2Corinthians 8:9, (2 Corinthians 8:9 For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.).

Make a personal decision to improve your life with the word of God. Build for yourself, an effectual life of success, progress, and consistent Victory through the instrumentality of the world.
