I get so inspired each time I read Matthew 16:18 ( And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock, I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.)

These were the words of the master himself and he categorically stated that he is personally responsible for building his church. How comforting.

We know that the Lord Jesus has gone to heaven, but the Holy Spirit is with us to continue His ministry here on earth. So how does the Lord build his church? He built his church through the instrumentality of the Word.

The Gospel of Jesus Christ was brought to us by the instrumentality of the Word. The scripture contains God's plan and purpose for mankind.

In your relationship with Jesus as Lord of your life, the first thing you have to learn is to submit to the Lordship of the Word.

The word is the only ingredient that can transform a person's life on all three levels; Spirit, soul and body (Hebrews, 4:12: For the word of God [is] living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart)

When the word of God gets into your spirit, it produces in you what it talks about. For example, the Word is the instrument for salvation, which is the very first steps.

Roman 1:16: For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.

CHECK THIS OUT:

That means God's power to save anyone is in the gospel of Christ: His word of Salvation.

The word of God can also transform your way of thinking as the Bible says in Romans. 12:2 (And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what [is] that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Then, of course, the word can transform your physical body. Proverbs 4:23. (Keep and guard your heart with all vigilance and above all that you guard, for out of it flow the springs of life.)

It will grant you divine immunity against sickness and any kind of infirmity. In addition. The word of God has the power to inspire prosperity into your life.

(Proverbs 8:10-11 Receive my instruction in preference to [striving for] silver, and knowledge rather than choice gold, For skillful and godly Wisdom is better than rubies or pearls, and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it.); 2 Corinthians 8:9, (2 Corinthians 8:9 For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.).

Other Bible Verses that show the instrumentality of the Word of God

The word judges every thought and intent and reveals the truth.

Hebrews 4:12 - "For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart."

This bible verse shows the power and effectiveness of the word of God. It describes the word of God as being "alive and active," meaning that it is not just a collection of dead letters but has the power to produce change and transformation.

The verse also compares the word of God to a "double-edged sword" that has the ability to penetrate deeply into a person's innermost being, dividing soul and spirit, and judging the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

This scripture also explains the importance of the word of God in the life of a Christian and underscores its ability to bring about transformation in a person's innermost being.

The word of God is not just a source of information, but it has the power to penetrate deeply and bring about change, revealing areas of a person's life that need to be transformed.

The word bring blessing (only to the doer)

James 1:22-25 - "But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks intently at his natural face in a mirror.
For he looks at himself and goes away and at once forgets what he was like. But the one who looks into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and perseveres, being no hearer who forgets but a doer who acts, he will be blessed in his doing."

 Born of the Word

1 Peter 1:23 - "For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and abiding word of God."

This bible verse shows the instrumentality of the word of God in the life of a Christian and highlights its power to bring about transformation in an individual's life.

It is not enough to simply hear the word of God, it must be embraced and lived out in one's life to bring about the desired transformation

The bible verse below highlights the instrumentality of the word of God, as it contains the teachings and actions of Jesus, and is therefore a central source of divine revelation for us as Christians.

The Word brings Transformation

John 1:1 - "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."

This verse emphasizes the importance of the word of God in the life of a Christian and highlights its power to bring about transformation in an individual's life. It is not enough to simply hear the word of God, it must be embraced and lived out in one's life to bring about the desired transformation.

Conclusively, the word of God is indeed instrumental as it shapes our life and help us to live based on the will of God.

Do make a personal decision to improve your life with the word of God. Build for yourself, an effectual life of success, progress, and consistent Victory through the instrumentality of the world.
