Let The Lord Jesus Take The Wheel

Why we should let Jesus Take The Wheel In Our Lives

As you journey through life, let Jesus lead you in the path to go, let Him be the first and you follow.

Trust me, there's no end to the success that follows they that let go of their SELF (pride, confidence, trust etc) only to cling unto Jesus Christ.
To such and one He says; He will never leave nor forsake.

What letting Jesus take the wheel means

The phrase "letting Jesus take the wheel" refers to the act of surrendering control of one's life to Jesus Christ.
It means putting your trust in Him to guide you through life's journey, instead of relying on your own understanding or strength.
This concept is based on the biblical principle of faith and trust in God, as expressed in Proverbs 3:5-6, which says: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths."

When we let Jesus take the wheel of our lives, we acknowledge that He is the true source of guidance and direction.
We recognize that our own wisdom and abilities are limited, and we need His help to navigate the challenges of life.
As we follow Him, we can trust that He will never leave us or forsake us, as promised in Hebrews 13:5.

The example of Abraham is a great illustration of what it means to let Jesus take the wheel.
When God called Abraham to leave his homeland and go to a land that He would show him, Abraham obeyed without hesitation, even though he didn't know where he was going.
As we read in Genesis 12:4, "So Abram departed as the Lord had spoken to him, and Lot went with him. And Abram was seventy-five years old when he departed from Haran."

Abraham's obedience and faith in God's plan for his life ultimately led him to become the father of faith and a great patriarch in the Bible.
His story shows us that when we surrender our plans and desires to God and trust in His leading, He can take us to places we never imagined.

In addition to Abraham, there are many other Bible characters who let Jesus take the wheel in their lives.
One example is Peter, who left his fishing business to follow Jesus and later walked on water with Him (Matthew 4:19, Matthew 14:28-29).
Another is Paul, who was transformed from a persecutor of Christians to a great evangelist through his encounter with Jesus on the road to Damascus (Acts 9:1-19).

When we let Jesus take the wheel in our lives, we can experience many benefits. We can have peace and security, knowing that He is in control and has our best interests at heart.
We can also have a sense of purpose and direction, as we follow His plan for our lives.
In addition, we can have a deeper relationship with Him, as we learn to trust and rely on Him more fully.

However, letting Jesus take the wheel is not always easy. It requires humility and a willingness to let go of our own desires and plans.
Sometimes, we may struggle to trust in His leading or to understand His ways.
When this happens, we can turn to Him in prayer and seek His guidance and wisdom (James 1:5). We can also seek the support of other believers and the guidance of His Word.
