The Word Prevails: Hold on to the Word of God

the word prevail
"It doesn't definitely matter what you're passing through, you only need to stick to the Word: for if you stick to the Word, you will definitely come back with a testimony." (Chris Oyakhilome)

In 1 Samuel 1:16-20, we read the story of Hannah. She was a woman who was barren and had been struggling with her situation for years. However, one day she went to the house of the Lord and poured out her heart to God. She received the Word of God from the prophet Eli in good faith and believed that God would answer her prayer.

After hearing the Word, her countenance changed. She who was unhappy became happy suddenly, and she who had not been eating before started eating. The Word of God had brought her joy and hope. Hannah believed in the Word of God, and a miracle happened in her life. She became pregnant and gave birth to a son named Samuel.

Beloved, the Word of God has the power to transform your life just as it transformed Hannah's life. The Word of God is life-giving and life-changing. It is powerful and effective, sharper than any two-edged sword, able to penetrate even to the dividing of soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart (Hebrews 4:12).

When you hold on to the Word of God, you will come back with a testimony. You will experience the power of God in your life. You will see miracles happen. You will see doors open that were once closed. You will see your dreams come to pass. You will see God's promises fulfilled.

Beloved, I want to encourage you today to hold on to the Word of God. Don't let go of it. Read it, meditate on it, and believe it. As you do, you will experience the power of God in your life. You will come back with a testimony. And just like Hannah, you will give all the glory and praise to God for what He has done in your life.

In conclusion, let us remember that the Word of God is our anchor in this world. It is our hope and our salvation. Hold on to it, and you will never be disappointed. May the Lord bless you and keep you, and may His face shine upon you always. Amen.
