If Jesus is the Answer, What is the Question?

Today, I want to talk about a question that has puzzled many people for ages. The question is, "If Jesus is the answer, what is the question?" This question is not only important, but it is also critical to our Christian faith.
As we read in Colossians 1:17, "And He Himself existed before all things, and in Him all things consist (cohere, are held together)."
In this verse, we see that Jesus is the foundation of everything in the world. He upholds everything by the power of His hands. Christ is the ruler of everything He created.
Christ maintains the physical world. This is why it works well. The sun, moon and stars stay in their correct places in the sky. Every day has the same number of hours. People in the world live because Christ keeps them alive. Christ also maintains everything that is not physical. Without Christ, everything would break down.
So, if Jesus is the answer, what is the question? The answer is that He is the answer to everything or questions. If we have questions about creation, in Him lies the answer. In Revelation 3:14, we see that Christ is the beginning of the creation of God.
If we have questions about God, we can see God in Him. As we read in John 14:7, "If you had known Me [had learned to recognize Me], you would also have known My Father. From now on, you know Him and have seen Him."
If we have questions about sin, Christ is the answer. He came to save us from our sins and to bring us back into a relationship with God.
If we are facing sickness and infirmity, Christ is the answer.
In Isaiah 53:4-6, we see that Christ carried our sorrows and was wounded for our transgressions. He took our pain and suffering upon Himself so that we can be healed.
If we are struggling with unrighteousness, Christ became our righteousness.
2 Corinthians 5:21, "For He hath made Him [to be] sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him."
And for every one of our questions and challenges, Christ is the answer. If you are facing challenges and seeking answers, take it to Jesus. He is the answer, the truth. If you are looking for a way out of anything, take it to Jesus. He is the answer, the way.
So let us all look to Jesus, who is the answer to all of our questions and challenges. Let us trust in Him and lean on Him, for He is the only way to true peace and joy in this life and in the life to come.
