The hemorrhage woman
The hemorrhaged woman tried hard to touch Jesus. She believed by touching the helm of the garment of Jesus, she would be healed of her issue of blood.

EXAMINING THE STORY OF THE HEMORRHAGE WOMAN AND THE LESSONS OF FAITH TO LEARN

Perhaps, you are passing through one of life's storms right now, and you don't know what to do, You may have looked for a way out, but it's not just coming.
In fact, it has gotten worse and you found yourself questioning God, as to why God allowed it in your life? There are no easy answers to that.
But know this: where there are no trials in life, there will be no triumphs. It has been said, "The hammer shatters glass, but it forges steel." And often in the hardships of life, great things will come as a result.
The truth indeed is, there will be times when God will take us to the greener pastures and still waters. Even then, He will be with us in the valleys as well.
And it is through those valleys we learn important lessons; because fruit does not grow on mountaintops; it grows in valleys.

The Hemorrhage Woman (Luke 8:43- 48)

Her infirmity cannot stain Jesus.
Talking about being moved to the wall; talking about an experience that shows no shining light of hope or of getting out, it is the issue of blood (hemorrhage) that beset a woman in the scripture as recorded in the book Luke 8:43-38.
Infact, people has forgotten her name, for she is hemorrhage personified

And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, which had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any, Came behind him, and touched the border of his garment: and immediately her issue of blood stanched. And Jesus said, Who touched me? When all denied, Peter and they that were with him said, Master, the multitude throng thee and press thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me? And Jesus said, Somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me. And when the woman saw that she was not hid, she came trembling, and falling down before him, she declared unto him before all the people for what cause she had touched him and how she was healed immediately. And he said unto her, Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace.

Hemorrhage is a heavy and constant release (flow) of blood within or from the body. To bleed copiously.

The situation was so much on her that the scripture says she has spent all she has on doctors or physicians, but she wasn’t healed. This she has been doing (looking for healing) for good twelve years, yet the situation remains unchanged, neither can anyone help her.

To the glory of God, God’s gracious mercy reaches unto her that faithful day that she met Jesus with her unwavering and undoubting faith.
The scriptures say she touches the helm of the garment of Jesus and she was healed.

NOTEWORTHY:

SHE NEVER GAVE UP ON HERSELF
And a woman having an issue of blood for twelve years,…

She had been dealing with the issue for a very long time (12 years precisely). Yet she believes her situation is going to change someday. She kept on fighting and was hopeful.
She, unlike many people, who in a hopeless situation like this would allow thoughts like; it’s all over, the thought of exploring other means or compromising standards; did not do that, we see a woman of hope and faith who believes that someday, something is going to work for her deliverance.

Are you reading this, and you’re having a problem that is challenging you, strange thoughts; like no hope again, it’s all over, you can’t make it comes crowding your mind, common, don’t give in, you are still having life in you, there’s hope you. With God it is never late, be hopeful and faith-full.

SHE EVENTUALLY WENT TO JESUS: WITH AN UNWAVERING FAITH

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28

One thing is going to God, another thing is taking along unwavering faith. And that is what she does. By her faith, she grasp the Almighty power, her helpless hand and situation laid she on the saving arm of God for divine healing.

“Faith is the grasping of Almighty power; the hand of man laid on the arm of God: the ground and blessed hour in which the things, impossible to me, becomes the possible, O Lord, though Thee” Anna E. Hamilton.

NOTE: Without faith, it is impossible to please God: her faith draws healing virtue from Jesus not her hand.

A FAITH-FILLED DRIVING FORCE
“If I Could Touch the Helm of His Garment”

That’s her driving force; that’s the ground of healing upon which her eyes of faith was opened unto. That’s what she eventually did and was healed.
Who could have imagined that such a thought would bring healing.

“The Multitude Throng thee and Press Thee”

Looking at the situation or the health of the woman; one can rightly say it will be so difficult for her to reach and touch Jesus, seeing that there are lots of people surrounding him.
However, her faith-filled thought becomes strength and determination in her. “if I could touch…” That is the faith-filled driving force that gives her strong determination and strength over all the obstacles and hindrances before her.

What is your faith-filled driving force? Look within that problem and find it. It’s going to fill you with strength, and determination to carry on towards achieving the success you so much desire.
